Tropical Boating Adventures is located at beautiful Punsand Bay, 7km to the west of “the tip” of Australia, and 28km north of Bamaga. Your guide Bat (Andrew Tod), has an extensive knowledge of the local waters, having been a permanent resident since 2002, and fishing the area since 1998.
The Blue water and estuaries offer a broad range of fishing experiences and fish species.
Sport fishing offshore, anglers can expect to tangle with Mackerel (Spanish, Shark, Grey, Spotted)
Trevally (GT, Silver, Brassy, Bludger, Golden, Diamond…), Northern Bluefin Tuna, Mac Tuna, Cobia, Barracuda, and Queenfish.
The reef fishing offers Fingermark, Coral Trout, Nannygai, Black Jew, Red Emperor and Tricky Snapper to name a few. Inshore and Estuary opportunities include; Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Estuary Cod, Blue and Threadfin Salmon, ancient Saratoga, and Tarpon.
